National Level Pharmacy Exam List

GPAT

GPAT 2020 or the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2020 is a national level entrance exam which allows candidates to take admission in to M. Pharma courses in colleges and institutes approved by the AICTE in India. GPAT 2020 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency or the NTA. GPAT 2020 exam is scheduled to happen on January 28, 2020.

NIPER JEE

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam 2020 or NIPER JEE 2020 is a national level exam which offers M. Pharm, M. Tech (Pharm), MBA (Pharm) and Ph.D. in pharmacy across its seven campuses all over India. The exam is conducted by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali.

The exam duration is of two hours and is conducted in the English medium. NIPER JEE 2020 comprises 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark and there’s a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.

State Level Exams

Delhi CET

Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) is a state level entrance test. Delhi CET is conducted by the Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi for admissions in a diploma course in Pharmacy. Delhi CET is also known as Delhi Polytechnic examination. Delhi CET exam will be held somewhere in the last week of May 2020. 

Goa CET

Goa Common Entrance Test (Goa CET) exam is a state level entrance test conducted by Department of Technical Education, Goa Government for admissions to professional degree course in Pharmacy offered by colleges in Goa. The authority organizes GCET exam in the month of May.

Gujarat CET

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test or the GUJCET is held by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) for admission in degree and diploma programmes in Pharmacy across Gujarat. The exam is expected to commence in the month of April.

KCET

KCET or the Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance exam which facilitates admissions into B. Pharma and D. Pharma programmes across colleges in Karnataka State. KCET is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The commencement of KCET registration is expected in the month of February 2020.

UKSEE

UKSEE or the Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam is a state level entrance exam which is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University. UKSEE facilitates admission in B. Pharma and M. Pharma programmes across colleges in Uttarakhand State. The online registration is expected to begin in the second week of April 2020.

UPSEE

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam or the UPSEE is a gateway for the candidates seeking admissions in B. Pharma programme across colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The state level exam is conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh. UPSEE application forms are expected to be available online from the Third week of January 2020.

WBJEE

WBJEE or the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is a state-level exam which facilitates admission into B.Pharmacy courses at universities, government colleges and self-financing institutions in West Bengal. WBJEE exam is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The WBJEE 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode on February 2, 2020. 

RUHS Pharmacy

RUHS Pharmacy exam is a state level exam. The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) conducts the RUHS Pharmacy exams for admission in B. Pharma and D. Pharma programmes to its affiliated colleges across the Rajasthan State. RUHS will make the online application forms available soon on their official website, ruhsraj.org. RUHS will open online registrations around Fourth week of June 2020.

KEAM Entrance Exam

KEAM or the Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam facilitates admission in B. Pharma, B. Pharma (Lateral Entry) and M. Pharma programmes across government and private colleges in the Kerala state. The KEAM exam is conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. CEE will start accepting the online registrations in the First week of February 2020.

Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test (CG PPHT)

CG PPHT or the Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test is a state level entrance exam administered by Chhattisgarh Vyapam also known as Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur. The CG PPHT exam is a gateway for students to take admissions in B. Pharma, D. Pharma and M. Pharma programmes across affiliated colleges and institutions in Chhattisgarh state. CG Vyapam is expected to start inviting applications and registrations from the Third week of March 2020. 

Punjab Technical University (PTU) Exam

PTU or Punjab Technical University exam is conducted by the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, Punjab. PTU exam facilitates admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Pharmacy. The final admission is granted after the centralized counselling. Candidates can register for the exam somewhere around the fourth week of April 2020.

Odisha Joint Entrance (OJEE) exam

OJEE or the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by the Odisha State Government to facilitate admission into B. Pharma and M. Pharma courses across the affiliated colleges and institutes in Odisha State. The registration for OJEE exam is expected to begin in and around First week of February 2020.

University Level Exams

Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy Exam

Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy entrance test is conducted by the Jamia Hamdard University, which is a Deemed to be University, New Delhi. Hamdard College of Pharmacy has started the diploma course in 1972 which was affiliated to Delhi Board of Technical Education. The BPharm. course was started in 1973 under Delhi University and the M. Pharma course in all the four disciplines with PhD programme was started in 1986. Jamia Hamdard is expected to start the registration and application process in and around the Third week of March 2020.

MAHE 2020 or MET 2020

Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) is the institute under Manipal Academy of Higher Education or MAHE formerly known as Manipal University. MCOPS offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Pharmacy. MCOPS or MAHE conducts Manipal Entrance Test commonly called as MET 2020 for admission into B. Pharma/Pharm. D and M. Pharma programmes.
MET 2020 Pharmacy will be conducted by MAHE and has already started the online registration and applications for B. Pharma and M. Pharma programmes on October 5, 2020. The last date for submitting the application forms March 15, 2020. 

GITAM GAT 2020

GITAM GAT 2020 is conducted by Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). GITAM GAT 2020 which is commonly known as GITAM Graduate Aptitude Test. GITAM GAT 2020 exam is conducted for admission in M. Pharma programmes. For M. Pharma programmes, candidates who have qualified the GPAT will be exempted from the GITAM GAT 2020. The examination is a computer-based test expected to be held in April 2020. Candidates can register and apply till March 30, 2020.
