M.Pharm Recruitment at Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission - Govt. of India

Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. IPC is created to set standards of drugs in the country. Its basic function is to update regularly the standards of drugs commonly required for the treatment of diseases prevailing in this region. It publishes official documents for improving the Quality of Medicines by way of adding new and updating existing monographs in the form of Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP). It further promotes the rational use of generic medicines by publishing the National Formulary of India. IP prescribes standards for identity, purity, and strength of drugs essentially required from the health care perspective of human beings and animals. IPC also provides IP Reference Substances (IPRS) which acts as a fingerprint for identification of an article under test and its purity as prescribed in IP.

Applications are invited for the following vacant posts purely on a contract basis at the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), an Autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ghaziabad, through Manpower Resource Outsourcing Services Providing Agency.

Associate (Materiovigilance Associate)

Salary : Rs 32,000.00
No. of Posts: 10
Qualification: Graduation in Biomedical Engineering/Clinical Engineering OR Masters in Pharmacy. Good knowledge of computers. Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical roles specializing in devices & diagnostics validation/evaluations.

Research Scientist (Sr Materiovigilance Associate )
Salary : Rs 40,000.00
No. of Posts: 02
Qualification: Graduation in Biomedical Engineering/Clinical Engineering OR Masters in Pharmacy. Good knowledge of computers. Experience - Minimum 5 years of experience in analytical roles specializing in devices & diagnostics validation/evaluations.

Period of engagement
The tenure of the contract will be for a period of 1 year. However, in case the work and conduct of the staff are not found to be satisfactory during the contract tenure, the services may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.

General Instructions
The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies and reject/select/cancellation of all applications received without assigning any reason.
1. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. It is not obligatory on the part of IPC or Manpower Outsourcing Service Agency to call for interview every candidate who possesses the essential qualification. Preference may be given to the candidates who have desirable experience.
2. Experience may be relaxed at the discretion of the Competent Authority
